May 14 Report
By Brenda Spurlock
Today the WAA team joined by the Kearney , Nebraska team visited Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. They had the big sound system on proclaiming Jesus. Police showed up but miraculously told them they could remain on campus.
Flip said they walked through the town of Hays . He said, "We made a right-hand turn on 12th Street and there was Planned Parenthood!" He said, "Judgment and I stopped, I knocked on the door, and Judgment and I stuck our heads in. I continued to proclaim what Planned Parenthood does." He said they couldn't shut the door because of Judgment, so they called the police. He said, "There we were, all of Hays police, eight police cars, a siren going, the Christian school kids, the horse, donkey, RV with sound system going, the broken 10 commandments, and broken baby." He said, "Now who is it that's disturbing the peace of Hays. Is it Planned Parenthood or is it Jesus?" Flip said, "We suddenly became the most dangerous people in Kansas ." He said, "It's always revival or riot where ever we go. The gospel battle had been enjoined. We withdrew the Sword of the Spirit and wielded it."
Flip said, "The Police Department knew they were being used as willing dupes to press forward the Devil's agenda of killing little boys and girls." He said, "One of them stood there holding the door open for clients. Imagine that!" He said, "We wouldn't let them get away with saying they were just following orders."
Curtis Fenison, our shofar blower, is an example of the sacrifices team members make to participate in this living parable gospel proclamation. He was driving the RV with the sound system going and was arrested. He was released after paying $135.
Kris Tyma and the kids prepared lunch for the entire group, then gave them special gift bags they had prepared with essentials like tooth paste, deodorant and stamps. They also gave them a financial gift. Several said they will rejoin the team in Wichita. They were such a tremendous encouragement to our people..
