Yesterday our Christian soldiers marched through the city of Richfield , UT, with the broken Ten Commandments, the aborted baby and the shofar "going on before." They spent the night on the parking lot of Family Worship Center Assembly of God and, blessing upon blessing, Pastor Willard Coleman treated all ten of them to a tasty Mexican dinner!
They continue to encounter difficulties with the State Highway Patrol who want them to get off the highway. Rusty appealed to the latest troopers who stopped them, telling them, "We have a duty to bring God's message to America ." He pleaded with them, "Please help us complete this mission." They could tell the troopers hearts were soft toward them, but one of the troopers told Rusty he couldn't approve them staying on the highway. He gave them a number to call to get a permit. Altogether they spent three hours talking to the Highway Patrol office and trying to call the Permits Office. They're on Hwy. 70 today walking to Salina . The wind was blowing so hard when I called that it was difficult to hear Flip above the wind noise on his cell phone.
Flip is convinced that, "If Las Vegas is the devil's biggest playground then Utah is one of his biggest churches." He said they learn more hidden details all the time about the worm gnawing at the center of the Mormon religion. It's a church with few outward manifestations of sin. There's little drunkenness, for example, and illegitimacy rates are low. But it's a religion based on a lie. Joseph Smith was not a prophet, and the Book of Mormon is not true, therefore, the foundation of the church is rotten. Among the false teachings is the idea that human perfection can be achieved here on earth. Flip said, "We see the results of the bondage and chains of this apostate religion in suicide statistics. Utah has the highest teen suicide rate per capita in the nation. The suicide rate for women is also exceptionally high." Please pray that the Holy Spirit will use the Walk Across America Team to bring Truth to those deceived by Satan's lies. God loves them and seeks to draw them to Himself.
