It Starts With Just 1 - 30th Roe Memorial in Lubbock Lubbock,
Texas There are a few gentle Christians that come to the mill on Thursday's, but no one was available today, so I decided I would just do a one (wo)man Face the Truth tour around the city for the 30th anniversary of Roe. The day started out a sunny 28 degrees. I stood on a busy intersection just off the interstate with a large Malachi sign. As soon as I set up the sign a lady drove by and gave me the last part of her mind, so I knew I was in the right place. I left there before noon and went downtown. I set up the signs outside the courthouse and was handing out brochures to everyone who passed by as Fox News set up their equipment.
I did an interview with Fox News (local affiliate 34). My daughter Charlotte joined me and gave a fantastic interview. She called the Church to repentance for peacefully coexisting with abortion. When the interviewer asked, "What is it going to take to overturn Roe?" She said, "When the Church gets some courage." I was so proud of her. The next stop on the tour was the medical district. Veteran prolifer Judy Kreller joined us while on her lunch break.
I was interviewed by another local TV station outside Planned Parenthood.
From there I went to a busy street corner in the retail district. I didn't have to stand there alone for long before a very sweet young Christian man came to stand in support. The last stop of the day was outside a medical office where the director of Planned Parenthood works. This is a very well traveled area. Once more I didn't have to stand there alone. Another complete stranger came up and held a sign. I had the opportunity to speak with several people coming out of the parking lot and to give out tracts. Hundreds of people saw the truth about abortion today, and my faith was strengthened as I experienced His providential care when I stepped out of my comfort zone and stepped up to the Gates.
