Grandmother Arrested in Lubbock

 Grandmothers Arrested in Lubbock

Judy & Dorothy spent two hours in the Lubbock County Jail yesterday. Attorney's had made previous arrangements for them to post bond and leave. Local TV 28 sent a cameraman, who filmed the two sidewalk counselors walking into the jail. Judy did an on-camera interview. No trial date has been set.

Agents for the Aaron Women's abortuary on 67th street claim that the two women were on their property on April 10th of this year; Dorothy & Judy deny those charges. Dorothy Boyett, a Registered Nurse and grandmother of seven, has been proclaiming the Gospel at that location for eleven years. Judy Kreller, also a registered nurse and grandmother of four, has been there for ten years. During that time they have endured constant harassment from those that would seek to silence their message. Nineteen mothers have chosen life for their children this year.

"Courtesy Letters"

Dorothy Boyett & Judy Kreller received "courtesy" letters from Sheriff David Gutierrez yesterday. Dorothy & Judy are regulars outside Aaron Women's "clinic" in Lubbock Texas. The letter from Lubbock County advised them that warrents for their arrest had been issued on charges of criminal trespass. The date and time of the alleged offenses were not stated.

Dorothy & Judy

The abortion clinic personel have a long history of false and frivolous charges. Police are often summoned by them. however, no recent tickets, citations, arrests, or even warnings have been given. On the other hand complaints of physical assaults, that are documented by video camera, against Judy & Dorothy somehow "get lost in the pipline."

Dorothy & Judy, deny all charges against them and are looking forward to their day in court.
