Charlotte Observer's Outrageous Censorship!

The Charlotte Observer (a.k.a. The Charlotte Disturber) has omitted the most indicting statements in Sheryl Chandler's letter to the Charlotte Observer editor.

“Gospel tracts and scripture bracelets were taken from attendees, discarded and destroyed. Thankfully, some managed to see through the hypocrisy and kept their materials,” Sheryl wrote, which was a key sentence that was completely omitted.

Once again, the Charlotte Observer reveals their irresponsible bias in support of sodomy and against the Gospel.

Sheryl Chandler's Letter to the Editor

Gay festival intolerant of OUR message
Charlotte Observer | 09/01/2006 | Observer forum: Letters to editor
In response to "Precautions leave people feeling safer at gay fest" (Aug. 27): Pride Charlotte refused to let our small band of gentle Christians distribute Gospel tracts and rainbow scripture bracelets at their annual homosexual festival. I was threatened early with arrest by Gateway Village security officials working on behalf of festival organizers, so I moved to public property. Homosexual "enforcers" shadowed me all afternoon and confiscated materials I had given away. Our message of truth, freedom and hope through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus was censored by these champions of tolerance and diversity.

Charlotte

This is my original letter. It is 146 words which is below their suggested 150 words:

One would think that the purveyors of "tolerance" and "diversity" would exude a bit more open-mindedness, but alas, they refused to let our small band of gentle Christians distribute Gospel tracts and rainbow scripture bracelets at their annual homosexual festival held last Saturday at Bank of America's Gateway Village. I was threatened early with arrest by Gateway Village security officials working on behalf of festival organizers, so I moved to public property. Homosexual "Enforcers" shadowed me all afternoon and confiscated many of the materials that I gave away. Gospel tracts and scripture bracelets were taken from attendees, discarded and destroyed. Thankfully, some managed to see through the hypocrisy and kept their materials.

Opposing views were not tolerated. Our message was one of truth, freedom and hope through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus. But it was censored by these champions of tolerance and diversity.
