 King Jesus "Shuts Down" High Place!

On Friday, April 12, our pro-life weekend celebration began with Flip giving an inspirational message at Providence Christian Academy. He spoke to about 30 teenagers regarding the importance of standing on God's Word without compromise. The title of his message was "Obey your Parents and Stand for Jesus!" As Flip ministered to the young people, he stated, "You are the generation that can make a difference, even though one-third of your classmates are missing because they have been slaughtered by abortion."

Later that afternoon, Flip received another warm welcome from the "Students for Life" organization on the campus of Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit University. Flip concluded the students' weeklong "Celebrate Life" event as their keynote speaker. This was an incredible opportunity to build an effective coalition with these wonderfully compassionate college students. He spoke about there being only one God. He boldly proclaimed that Allah, Buddha or Mohammad could not save one from their sins, but that Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is the one true God who can, and will! He stressed that the Church must follow hard after Jesus and live for Him if we are to see good fruit in this land. While he was speaking, the students equipped themselves with God's Word by writing down Scripture references to use while engaging in the battle!

On Saturday, our Lord Jesus answered our prayers. For the first time in its 28-year history, the Hope Clinic for Women in Granite City, Illinois, did not open. Not one baby was killed! They did not open on the busiest killing day of the week when they normally shed the blood of approximately 50 babies each week. This "Mecca of the Midwest" abortuary knew the gentle Christians were coming to stand for our Lord in the streets of Granite City. They knew that the National Director of Operation Save America was coming to lead Gideon's Army into spiritual battle at their diabolical high place! God performed a miracle and caused the wicked to close down in fear.
"The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you…" Deut 28:7

God loves those who are faithful. Calculating the lost revenue for these abortions coupled with the lost revenue from the sale of baby body parts and organs, the clinic probably lost over $20,000.00. Praise God! We held a praise, worship and repentance service as well as a "Jericho March" around the high place. One of our brothers in Christ played the guitar and sang as we marched around the mill! As a matter of fact, you could almost hear the wind blowing across the empty parking lot except for the celestial voices that filled the air lifting up the name of Jesus. Reggie, the new guard, told us the staff decided to shut the clinic down because they heard that God's Army was coming!
"They saw [Her] and were astounded; they fled in terror." Ps 48:5 We have had 3 guards find new jobs in the past 2 months. Praise God!

On Saturday night, a banquet was held at Michael's restaurant where the "Sons of God" entertained us and over 150 people listened as Angela and Daniel spoke about "Small Victories", their pro-life ministry. They explained how Jesus had changed their lives and have given them a vision for Him! Angela shared her personal testimony. Tim and Al, our beloved KJSL radio hosts, talked about the abortion industry, and Flip gave a dynamic message about the clinic not opening and the evils of the Islam religion. Proverbs 28:1 "The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion." This is very much like the Islam religion. When you see on television all the rebellion and burning of US flags in the streets and cities of Iran and Iraq and other evil nations, the media doesn't show you when our military tanks attack them. They run like rats. They are cowards when confronted. This is the same with the abortion industry. If the Church of Jesus Christ would rise up and stand at the gates, God would give us the victory. Teaberries, the infamous teahouse in Highland, IL is a great example! The walls of this place where a Hope(less) clinic worker entertains little girls on the weekends is being bulldozed!

On Sunday at "The Church of St. Louis", Angela talked to a group of people and Flip talked to a Sunday school class of teenagers. Flip then concluded this awesome weekend by giving a rousing sermon about the price we must pay if we are going to turn this nation around. About 125 people attended the service and we praised the Lord for Pastor Ralph and his strong stand for the unborn. Many members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association attended in their leather and Bible patches. We must run the race of faith and stay true!

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Heb 12:1-3
