The American Family Association reported April 5 th that McDonalds has refused to address the network programs that are filled with sex, profanity, and music with sexually explicit language. McDonald's claims that they support MTV because "it is very much within the mainstream of American popular culture." It’s unbelievable that the burger chain CEOs think we’ve forgotten their Super Bowl preview of what MTV spews out 24/7. Since the Christians were bold enough to hold signs outside the stadium that President Bush was inside throwing out the first pitch, reporters from the newspaper and News Channel 5 KSDK came over and interviewed the proclaimers. What a mix - the unions protesting Bush and the Christians calling everyone not actively fighting abortion with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to repentance! The media cannot resist covering anyone that disagrees with Bush.

Another male fan was upset. He paid fifty dollars for his ticket and these signs were upsetting his appetite. Well, how do you think baby Malachi felt? Some fans recognized the truth-bearers and reacted as though they suffered from Montezuma's revenge or O.B.S. (over-active bladder syndrome) and made a mad dash for the entrances to the stadium. There were some, "God bless you's" as some people were thankful that we were there and accepted the Bibles and tracts. One man even offered to give Hunter a donation but instead Hunter said, "That's not necessary," and gave the man a Bible.

The Church of Jesus Christ has been called to preserve our culture. We have given over our Godly heritage to our favorite past-time events in our cities. What kind of a heritage are we leaving to our future generations? We have made sports and money our god. Can you imagine half of the 49,000 fan-goers showing up outside the Hope Clinic or Planned Parenthood? Our prayer is that the Church will awaken from its slumber and stand at these "gates of hell" and then God will hear us and turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and bring an end to the slaughter of the innocent.
