Police Attempt to Move
Gospel off the Streets
There has been another
attack on Christians, this time in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The Bridgeport
Police Department started to enforce a 1997 injunction on May 18, 2001 on all
prolifers. This is ludicrous; everyone knows the injunction was made only for
Stan Scott. His particular injunction was issued four years ago to keep Mr.
Scott twenty-eight feet from the front door of the death camp plus a five foot
buffer zone around the clients.
We all know this is a
continuous effort of the abortion industry to hide the truth from the public.
The center was so upset weeks ago when hundreds of cars had to pass by the
killing center because of a detour. All these commuters got to see pictures
comparing live babies to aborted ones. They also got to see pictures of piles
of dead Jews compared next to piles of dead babies. The Nazi Holocaust verses
the American Holocaust. The truth hurts. A picture speaks a thousand
words.
The police know we have
never broken any laws. This abortuary has been open for twenty-five years.
There have been no acts of violence outside this mill. The fact is that acts of
violence happen inside as little baby boys and little baby girls are ripped to
death piece by piece. Acts of violence occur against women in this mill.
The abortionist on duty has four formal complaints against him for incompetence
and negligence. Women have been taken out on stretchers by ambulance. On Sept.
8, 2000 a young mom was hemorrhaging after she received a perforated uterus and
perforated bladder during her abortion procedure.
We have been at this
center for eleven years. Probably thousands of babies have been saved here by
the effectiveness of prolifers and the help of Almighty God. We have documented
920 babies saved and 330 salvations. We give our Lord and King Jesus all
the glory for His victory out on the streets. I covet your prayers as lovers of
death use the police department to strip away our rights as Americans. As this
Memorial Day approaches, let us continue to stand for our freedoms for which so
many have died. We have a responsibility to be here for those children who are
sentenced to die, pleading for their lives (Proverbs 24:10-12). Remember
we do this out of obedience to our Lord and His word. We are His vessels, His
hands, His feet, His mouthpiece...reaching out to the lost and needy. It was
once said a coward dies a thousand deaths, but the courageous die but once. Let
us be courageous as we continually stand for life.
"Do not be afraid; I
will save you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you pass through
deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you
pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not
hurt you. For I am the Lord, your God, the holy God of Israel, who saves you. "
