"God Is Going Back to School - The Last Day" The saints in Bridgeport, Connecticut gave 'em heaven at the gates of a local high school and, in so doing, touched the hearts and minds of hundreds of kids, teachers, and parents. It was the last day of school, and our last opportunity to bring God back to the school room through the hearts of our kids. We will never have any idea this side of heaven, how effective this kind of witness is but I will guarantee that God's Word never returns to Him void. Your efforts at bringing the Gospel of Christ to the "gates of hell" wherever they manifest themselves (abortion mills, schools, businesses, city councils, churches, and even Washington, D.C.) allows Almighty God Himself to receive glory and brings life out of death. Keep fighting the good fight of faith! Flip THE STREETS, BRIDGEPORT - CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL
About fifteen saints came out to the streets today at Central High School in Bridgeport. We had all ages witnessing for Jesus from ten years old to eighty years old.
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the Gospel. (Isaiah 52:7)
God is so good. There was a police car on the street and security on school property. Pastor Miller represented the local clergy. (Yesterday Fr. Smith represented the clergy at the mill.) We had signs on display showing the truth about life and death (abortion). Many schoolbuses went by. There were no problems. The students were receptive.
"How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in You. In the shelter of Your presence You hide them from the intrigues of men; in Your dwelling You keep them safe from accusing tongues." Psalm 31:19-20
We gave out literally hundreds of gospel tracts and prolife literature to students entering the school "gates." Nancy was on video and took pictures on the memory stick. Our Lord blessed our meager efforts in spite of the pouring rain. 1 Cori. 9:27 "No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."
Please pray that lives would be changed for His glory at Central High School and in our community. We know what they will be talking about today. I thank God for the saints that beat their flesh into submission this morning and got up early to come out in the rain. God is faithful to us as we are faithful to Him. "And in doing good let us not grow tired; for in due time we shall reap if we do not relax." 6:9 In His
Service,
