Disney has had to cancel two of its six "Mickey's Hometown Parades" this summer because folks like you have determined to allow your theology to move from the church house and become biography in the streets. At every corner, Disney's "Tragic Kingdom" has been confronted by the one true King.

DISNEY'S SIN EXPOSED TO THOUSANDS AT PARADE IN VERMILLION, SD

On Saturday, July 18, God used three pro-life Christians to expose Disney's funding of abortion (via Planned Parenthood), pornography (Miramax films), sodomy, and anti-Christian bigotry. Flyers produced by the American Family Association giving specific accounts of Disney's immoral actions were handed out to the crowd of 24,000 before the parade began. Scott Heldreth and Mark Gabriel jumped in line at the end of the parade holding banners back to back: "Disney Betrays God and Family" and "Disney Funds: Pornography, Sodomy, Abortion." Expecting the police to grab them and throw them out, they rejoiced in the Lord as the police kept hecklers and rowdies away from them, allowing the banners to be seen by all along the entire parade route! Gabriel said, "Even though we got booed and spit upon, I rejoiced to be able to suffer for righteousness sake!" As he walked in the parade he exhorted the people he passed, saying, "Hate what is evil, cling to what is good" (Romans 12:9). Before and during the parade, ORN sponsored a huge banner flown overhead by plane that read "Disney Betrays God and Family." Scott did an interview with a local TV station at the end. The next day, the largest newspaper in the state, The Sioux Falls Argus Leader, had a photo of the guys carrying the banner in the parade. The headline read "Disney Parade Draws 24,000, a Few Protesters." We thank the Lord for what He will do with "a few" willing to serve Him!

OPERATION RESCUE AND THE WITNESS OF GOD

John McTernan is a 26-year veteran and criminal investigator with the United States Treasury Department. He is founder of Cops for Christ and has written a book God's Final Warning to America that documents God's hand at work in the earthquakes, floods, fires, stock market crashes, and hurricanes. He demonstrates in a clear and succinct manner that God has not been silent while our nation has turned from Him. He has also documented how God has been and continues to warn America through a little known group of Christians called Operation Rescue. Here are some excerpts from this book:

"Since 1987, I've been documenting natural disasters and stock market downturns and have found that, almost without exception, they have occurred on the very day of a blatantly sinful national event such as "Gay Pride Day." All hurricanes and powerful earthquakes since 1989 have hit the United States during homosexual or abortion related events. The awesome 500-year floods catastrophically arrived during these events, along with powerful outbreaks of tornadoes. The big stock market downturns have occurred right along with our national rejection of God, His Law, and His Word."

"The Bible clearly states that God will destroy nations that endorse and practice child sacrifice, adultery, homosexuality, and other perversions. In Leviticus 18:22-25 God said that these sins defile the land, and God will cast out the people living on the land. Leviticus 18:25 says that because of these sins God would punish the nation with the judgment it deserves as the "land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants."

"The very judgments that came upon the nations in Leviticus 18 are now upon us in America today. As our nation moves further from God, more disasters are occurring. These are warnings (remedial judgments) of coming divine judgment that will soon befall America unless there is national repentance. God is literally shouting to America that we are on a collision course with Him. His love and mercy expressed in these judgments are seeking the attention of His church warning that imminent judgment is right before us. The killing of babies in the womb, open and bold homosexuality, vile child pornography, adultery, and fornication all have the attention of our holy God. God is confronting our sinful nation with very graphic warnings."

"I have carefully watched as awesome warnings from God have occurred during Operation Rescue events. God is bearing witness to Operation Rescue's effort to speak for Him and His children in the womb. He is using Operation Rescue in a prophetic way to warn America!!! The following are examples of the witness of God with Operation Rescue.

APRIL 1992. Operation Rescue was invited to come to Buffalo in an attempt to save babies. Pro-life supporters came from all over America to lift up the Gospel of Christ in an event called "Spring of Life." Pro-abortion supporters came from all over the nation to insure that child-killing centers stayed open. This national event was carried in the front pages of the nation's newspapers. It began on April 20 and ended on April 30. This was also the time a jury in California began deliberating the Rodney King case.

OR met fierce resistance from militant pro-abortion supporters, homosexuals, and lesbians. They chanted vile slogans and sang vile songs against our holy God. "The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men." Ps. 12:8. On April 23, a powerful 6.3 earthquake rocked southern California. Just two days later on April 25, an extremely powerful 6.9 earthquake rocked northern California. This was the seventh most powerful earthquake this century to hit America. Newspapers across America actually had articles of the OR event in Buffalo and the earthquake touching each other!

On April 30, following an incredible national media bashing, the OR event came to an end. This was also the day the jury found the police officers in the Rodney King case innocent. When word of the decision reached the streets, the worst rioting since the Civil War erupted in Los Angeles and other cities. It was as if God's hand of restraint against violence was removed from the nation, after its unconcern for preborn children was so visibly demonstrated in the streets of Buffalo. During the Spring of Life, there were two major earthquakes and the worst rioting in 140 years.

JULY 1993. From July 9 through 18, OR conducted an event called "Cities of Refuge." OR was confronted by a number of hard core abortion supporters, homosexuals, and lesbians who mocked and uttered blasphemous insults to our holy God. During this period, rains of incredible quantity fell on the mid-West. The rains were the greatest since recordkeeping began in the 1800's. The entire State of Iowa was covered with water and the rains caused the Great Flood of 1993. The OR event and the flooding of the mid-West were actually front-page articles in the newspapers across the nation! As the "Cities of Refuge" event ended, so did the awesome rains. The rains ended when OR ended!!!

MARCH 1994. Between March 25 and April 3, OR conducted an event called "Holy Week Passion For Life" in Birmingham, Alabama. On March 27, a series of violent thunderstorms and fearsome (F4) tornadoes roared across Alabama and then spread across the South causing tremendous damage. The National Weather Service maps showed the storms came across the Birmingham area and touched down first in northeast Alabama! A spokesman for the Weather Service said of one tornado: "One of the worst ones I've seen, one of the worst ones this century."

APRIL 1995. OR went to New Orleans for an event titled, "Holy Week Passion for Life-95" held April 10-16. New Orleans had been called the murder capital of America. Per capita, more people were murdered in this city than any city in America. Mayor Marc Morial even called for the church to help. When OR came to New Orleans that week all eight abortion mills shut down. Gentle Christians prayed in front of the abortion centers and asked God to break the spirit of murder over the city. God miraculously answered!

No babies were killed during this week, and there were NO MURDERS in the streets of New Orleans for the entire week! It was amazing. Even the media picked up on the fact that there were no murders during the OR event to save babies. God blessed New Orleans because the spirit of murder was cut off at its root - child killing. The murder rate dropped 50% during the month of April and 18% for the year. On April 14 a powerful 5.6 earthquake rocked Texas and New Mexico. This was the most powerful area earthquake in 75 years.

OCTOBER 1995. On October 5, Hurricane Opal slammed into the Florida panhandle with 120-mph winds. Opal did $3 billion in damage and was the third most destructive hurricane in American history. What is amazing is that on October 2, the Supreme Court made a pro-abortion, anti-Gospel ruling. The Court refused to hear a challenge to the unconstitutional Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE). This was a major pro-abortion victory. The FACE law was created to hinder the Christian witness at child-killing centers. It has been used frequently against OR. It is a tool used to silence the Gospel and those who live it out in the streets.

From September 30 until October 2, Hurricane Opal had been drifting slowly in the Gulf of Mexico directly west and was no threat to the United States. On the very day the Court ruled not to hear the challenge to FACE, Opal made a sharp 75-degree turn, increased in power, and accelerated directly toward America. It was as if an unseen force pulled this hurricane off course and headed it directly toward the United States! I believe this was the providential hand of Almighty God?

JULY 1997. From July 13 through 19, hundreds of Christians gathered in Dayton, Ohio, for an event called "Return to Truth". Their purpose was to bring the Gospel to the gates of Martin Haskell's abortion mill. Haskell is one of the abortionists credited with inventing the partial-birth abortion technique. Overnight on July 18, Hurricane Danny formed in the Gulf of Mexico. The hurricane just sat off the coast and then headed inland to Alabama. Danny dumped 30 inches of rain along the coast. When was the last time you heard of a hurricane developing overnight in the Gulf of Mexico?

JUNE 1998. From May 30 until June 6, OR brought "Operation Push Back" to the City of Orlando, Florida. OR prayed in front of Orlando's child-killing centers, confronted child pornography being sold at Barnes Noble, and shared the gospel with a huge gathering of homosexuals at Disney World. OR received very little support from the local churches. OR went to the Orlando city council and asked that the "gay flags" be taken down from city hall. There were 360 gay flags flying throughout the city! Orlando was flying the "gay flag" for the month of June in honor of "Gay Awareness Month." The city refused to take the flags down. OR closed "Operation Push Back" in prayer at 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 6. At approximately 2:30 pm, just as OR closed in prayer, awesome fires erupted northeast, east and southeast of Orlando. These fires and about 2,000 others burned out of control for the rest of the month.

On June 7, the fires were so fierce the governor called a state of emergency and mobilized the National Guard. Two weeks after President Clinton issued his endorsement of "Gay Pride Week" in Florida he had to declare the state a disaster area. All tolled, 500,000 acres had burned, long stretches of I-95 were shut down, thousands lost their homes and many said Florida looked like a "living hell". The fires were called the worst in the history of the state. Over 50,000 people had to be evacuated from their homes. On June 30th, the Gay flags were taken down, the rains came, and the fires abruptly came to an end. God is warning America!"

God is clearly using Operation Rescue to warn America. These are a few examples of how God is warning America of its collision course with Him over killing babies in the womb. John's book, "God's Final Warning to America," gives dozens of examples of God's remedial judgments and warnings. The book calls the church to true repentance and to stand against the killing of innocent children in the womb. FACE CHARGES FILED AGAINST OR IN DAYTON AND WASHINGTON D.C.

In its never ending attempt to remove the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the streets of this land the United States Department of Justice has filed civil FACE charges against gentle Christians living out their faith in Dayton, Ohio and Washington D.C. God has raised up our good friends at the Liberty Counsel in Orlando, Florida to represent Him and those who live out His commands for these two cases. We are not surprised at this for our Lord told us it would be this way: "...they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my Name. This will result in your being witnesses to them." Lk 21:12-13. Please pray for our attorneys and for the saints who have enough evidence to convict them as Christians.

JUDGE SITS ON NATIONAL INJUNCTION

U.S. District Judge David Coar, the judge in the NOW vs. Scheidler trial of which Operation Rescue is codefendant, is taking a great deal of time determining whether or not to issue a national injunction around every abortion mill in this nation. Our able attorneys from the ACLJ, in particular Larry Crane, have made clear to Judge Coar the incalculable ramifications of such an injunction, not the least of which is the fact that every reported violation would have to be heard in his court. This gave the Judge pause. Perhaps it will enable him to resist NOW's noisey clammering for injunctive relief. Please pray for us.

BARNES AND NOBLE AND BORDERS BOOKSTORES ARE "NO SHOWS" IN COURT

Neither Barnes Noble nor Borders Bookstores seem desirous to show up in court and defend the child pornography sold in their stores. Several Christians, who have torn pages out of the incredibly lewd books and have been cited, have found no one in court to testify against them when their court date arrived. In Dallas, the police didn't even show up to testify against them. Those courageous Christians who loved enough to cover the children being used as sexual toys by ripping their nude pictures from these books are being vindicated by Almighty God! WWJD?
