Stratford, CT Proclamation Reaches Hundreds who are Uninformed about Wal-Mart

Stratford, CT Proclamation Reaches Hundreds who are Uninformed about Wal-Mart
by Marilyn Carroll

The Lord gave us a beautiful sunny brisk day for the Wal-Mart outreach on Friday Nov. 24, 2006 in Stratford, CT. We had early reports that loads of police were lined up at the front doors with cars and patrolmen. I don't know if it was because of us or because it is the busiest shopping day of the year.

Twenty people showed up to proclaim the gospel of truth to the customers and passers by. We were able to pass out about 800 pieces of literature in a three hour span. We had people at both driveway entrances. Signs were held so thousands of cars stopped at the light, read the signs andsome asked questions and requested the flyers.

I thank God for all who took time out of their busy holiday weekend to do the work of the Lord. The police (Officer Rosenbaum) were fine, they just wanted to know what we planned to do, how long we would be there and how many were coming. The prayers that went forth before this event truly paved a way for us to minister.

We thank God for the AFA attorneys who were also on call for us in case we had any problems. Above is a picture of Carmen, I told her she has to be the boldest woman I know, she literally gave out hundreds of informational papers to the cars driving out of the parking lot. Most people were not aware that Wal-Mart supports Planned Parenthood and sells Plan B abortion pills or that they are heavily involved in the support of radical homosexual groups. We were blessed to have Pastor Tom Greco lead us in prayer before we left. (See picture)

As we continue our daily readings in 2 Peter 1, the Lord tells us to make efforts to apply the benefits of His rich and wonderful promises. Faith must be more than believing certain facts, it must result in action and growth in our Christian character. We must practice moral discipline or it will fade away (James 2:14-17). God encourages us to work hard to prove we are His, practicing self-control which leads to patient endurance which leads to godliness. Then we grow in genuine love for everyone. That is why we went out on the streets, to be productive and useful with our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and what He says about the sins of abortion and homosexuality. Thanks to all of you who participated.

We will be back on the streets Tuesday and Friday, 7:30 am sharp, to help save souls and lives for Jesus. We try to persuade moms not to kill their babies before they enter the death camp on 3787 Main St. Bridgeport. We reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be. We love them with the love of Christ, after all we are His body. We are his mouthpieces here on the earth, His hands to comfort and help, His feet to go and rescue the children from slaughter. If not us, then who? If not now, then when? Please come. We will be there until the killing stops.
