Response to graphic photo of reality Here are just two email letters from youth that we received this weekend. These are unedited (except for one name) and in the form of emails often typed out of time constraints. God is speaking to America and it appears more youth are listening than adults. #1 Horrified To whom it may concern: This letter may not make too much of a difference to you, but I just wanted to let you know that your website saved me from making a horrible decision. My name is D--- and I live in -------. I'm a junior in high school and made the foolish mistake of becoming pregnant. My first initial reaction was panic and I began looking in the Yellow Pages for abortion clinics. My boyfriend is horribly against abortions but I thought I had no choice. In the end he was the one who helped me discover your organization. He told me to go to OSA to read up on abortions. I was absolutely horrified at what I saw. How could people be so cold? I was considering abortion due to the fact that a.) my mother would kick me out of the house and b.) I was considering becoming a model. My mother can make all the threats she wants but she can't deny that she will be a grandmother in 7 1/2 more months. I can't believe I almost killed a child...my child, because I was worried at what other people thought about me and vanity. What a waste of my time. Instead of panic, I feel a sense of peace. I know it sounds strange but I can't even describe what I feel. Thank you so much. I have an appointment for counseling and parenting classes very soon. Sincerely D--- PS Could you possible email me more information about what you stand for?" #2 'Open Letter' To whom it may concern: I am 18 years old. I receive your newsletter regularly and I did receive 'Open Letter to America' I believe with all my heart that the attacks on the WTC's and in washington dc and the crash in my own state just 60 miles away from me, was a result of the sins and perversion of this country. The lack of care for the unborn, the acceptance of homosexuality, divorce and adultery an every day occurrence. This country is vile. Although i wouldn't live in any other country. I pray for this country because i know its final demise is surely just around the corner. But, as much faith as I have. And as many prayers I pray. I have great doubt that this country will turn humbly to God and get down on their knees for forgiveness for their blatant selfishness and rebellion. People may choose to ignore the attacks or believe they are because we are so faithful and true to God. But, they are the ones who shall be ignorant when their world crumbles beneath their feet. Every Christian...follower of God .need to kneel before Him. Face to the ground and beg for his mercy and forgiveness. Without Him this country is nothing. Without Him we all are nothing.
