Wal-Mart has pulled a “Bill Clinton” Remember President Clinton told us all that he did not have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.  A few months later the whole nation found out that he had.  He got caught.  So he made a little three minute apology to the nation and then said he has to get back to the business of the White House.

So much for repentance!  He was only sorry he got caught.  The tears were for himself.  He just wanted to get on with business as usual – whatever that meant.

The same spirit that inhabited the shell of William Jefferson Clinton has found a resting place in the confines of the once, God honoring shell, of the Wal-Mart Corporation.  It has been caught dishonoring the God of its founder Sam Walton.  It has been caught “dissing” the American Christian family.  It has been caught calling that which is evil, good and that which is good, evil.  It has been caught by the Church of Jesus Christ betraying the God of the Bible, calling Him “a big, fat, black dyke.”

Now it wants everything to be better because of a little three minute justification of its actions to the American Family Association.  Yes, Wal-Mart is running scared because of its own bottom line.  Black Friday is coming and it was going to take a huge hit as Christian families from around the country are coming to Wal-Mart, but not to purchase any items.  They are coming to expose the truth about this once family friendly store.

The American Family Association bought the lie.  It took the bait!

This spirit that presently inhabits the corporate shell of Wal-Mart is the devil himself and he is having his way.  Why?  Because we, in the Church of Jesus Christ, are not willing to cut off his head.  He was on the ropes – we had him – repentance was near, and then we let him go. 

We have the sharp double-edged Sword of the Spirit at our disposal, but we are afraid to unsheathe and use it for fear of appearing bigoted or judgmental.  So now we are asked by our friends at the “American Family Association” to thank Wal-Mart for its many kindnesses extended to us.  What hypocrisy!

We have absolutely no intention of thanking Wal-Mart for what it has done to the Name of Jesus, to little baby boys and girls safe in their mother's wombs, to Sam Walton's Christian legacy, and to the American Christian family.  Wal-Mart needs to repent before Almighty God.  We don't need to be thanking it for not doing so! 

David didn't have any problem cutting off Goliath's head for he knew that Goliath was an enemy of God and an enemy of God's people.  He knew the havoc Goliath would wreak if he were allowed to live.  Wal-Mart, as it now exists, needs to die, so that the Wal-Mart of Sam Walton might be resurrected in Jesus' Name.

We, in the Church, have become so effeminate!  No, maybe we have become so … Republican!  Isn't this what Republicans do – snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!

NEW YORK — A conservative group that had called on supporters to boycott Wal-Mart's post-Thanksgiving Day sales to protest the retailer's support of gay-rights groups withdrew its objections Tuesday.
