Operation Save America - Did God Give His Final Warning to America?

On August 9, 2001, President George W. Bush made his first national speech to America. The topic was the federal funding for stem cell research. Many scientists believe that diseases could be cured by stem cell research, and they have requested federal funds to aid in this research. During his election campaign, the President made it clear that he was against stem cell research. Thus, I watched his recent speech with great intensity.

The President made a major change in his position. He had agreed to allow federal funding for the "limited" use of some 60 stem cell lines for "scientific research." His reasoning for this decision was horrifying, and it was basically this: the 60 stem cell lines came from already dead embryos. So why not use them?

The President said he took counsel from many people and weighed all the options. He had agonized over this decision, he said, but he never once mentioned what God had to say about the creation of human life. He totally ignored God's word in his decision.

In Psalm 139, verses 13-17, God speaks very clearly on the creation of a baby:

13 For thou hast possessed my reins (inner being): thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

This Psalm shows that God considers each person to be unique, and that He is directly involved in the formation of each person. This portion of the Psalm concludes by stating that God's thoughts of us are precious! Embryos are not to be used as spare parts.

After listening to the President, a dread or heaviness came over me. He had just endorsed the use of babies that were artificially created and then killed to harvest the stem cells for research. By artificial, I mean that the fertilization of the egg was done by scientists in labs. The President had just sanctioned this research by putting the federal government behind it. The President missed a tremendous opportunity to stand for life and to tell the country what God's word says about the creation of each person.

Stem cell research is but one of many attacks on the humanity of man. The Bible says that humans are made in the image of God. God is directly involved in who we are to be. We are custom designed by God. Science now is in the process of tampering with the very integrity of mankind. Scientists have broken the genetic code and are mixing human DNA with animals. There are attempts to clone humans, and even more shocking, "designer babies" are being created. Stem cell research would use embryos for harvesting of "parts."

Scientists totally ignore the uniqueness of man made in God's image and are demanding federal funding for stem cell research to advance science and medicine. Science and the federal government are on a collision course with God over His creation.

God will only let this tampering go so far. I have wondered at what point God would intervene in our affairs to stop this tampering with His creation. As a nation, we kill 1.5 million babies a year [4000 a day] through abortion. Now, embryos are intended to be harvested for parts.

In 1993, I printed the first copy of my book, "God's Final Warning to America." I prayed about the title, because I had several in mind. Originally, "God's Warnings to America" was chosen, but I switched to "God's Final Warning to America." I choose this title for a reason.

If America did not repent for abortion, homosexuality, and the forcing of Israel to give up her covenant land, some event would cause the nation to cross the line with God. Exactly what event was unknown; however, there would be an event which would trigger the release of awesome judgment.

It appears now that the decision by the President to support stem cell research was this event. America has crossed the judgment line with God. There will be no more warnings of judgment.

When the President made his speech, there were no specific amounts of money requested for stem cell research. It probably will be in the millions of dollars.

The very next time that the President addressed the nation was on September 11. It was the day that the World Trade Center (WTC) was attacked and destroyed by suicide bombers. The very financial center of the country? if not the world? suffered great destruction. The financial loss from this attack will be in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Huge sections of the nation have been shut down for a week. Literally thousands of lives have been lost in the attack, and property damage estimates are being verbalized in the billions of dollars. The possibility of the American economy descending into a severe recession, possibly a depression, are very real. This financial strain could very well put an end to funding for stem cell and other such research.

The attack on the WTC was just over a month to the day after the President's stem cell speech. The two speeches were only 32 days apart. The first dealt with the manipulation and destruction of newly-created human life involving millions of dollars.

The second addressed the destruction of life with the cost in the hundred of billions. In addition, $40 billion has been unanimously voted by Congress in response: $20 billion for New York City and $20 billion to beef up the nation's domestic defense.

The connection between the two events are eerie. Both involve the wanton destruction of life. One came about in the name of science, while the other was carried off in the name of Allah.

America has been warned and warned by God about tampering with babies in the womb. The church, for the most part, has failed to respond. The government and courts have failed to act to protect the babies. The police have been used to insure the babies are killed, through providing security to the abortion centers. All sections of society have been involved.

The entire nation is guilty of not defending its children. The country has continued down this road of killing babies in the womb, and now the practice has been expanded to manipulating even the very creation of life itself.

All previous warnings used natural disasters which involved very little loss of life. This week's warning was one of God's ways of trying to get the attention of both church and nation to the coming collision with Him. The church failed to lead the nation in repentance.

God gave America until September 11, 2001, to repent of abortion, homosexuality, and forcing Israel to give up her covenant land. On this day, God removed His hand of protection, and Satan through? the evil hearts of men? attacked the United States of America with unspeakable horror.

America has lost the blessing of God and she has been turned over to evil. It must have hurt the heart of God to do this. He had no choice. America has become just like ancient Israel, as described in Isaiah 1:4-7:

"Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? Ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers."

Abortion is an ugly procedure. The babies are torn apart by various medical instruments, and the bottom line is that they are mutilated. On September 11, thousands of Americans were horribly torn apart and mutilated. Eyewitnesses said that it literally rained bodies and body parts from the WTC. The ground around the building was covered with blood, bodies and body parts.

The attacks on the WTC and Pentagon have completely changed America. The days to come could result in more such terrorist attacks. The nation could go to war, and many thousands of Americans could die. In a short few hours, the United States has been thrust into a wartime mode. This war, however, will be without the blessings and protection of God.

I am pleading that, beginning with President Bush, [for] this nation [to] repent of our terrible sins before God. Praying to God is not enough. To secure the blessing of God on our nation, we must repent and turn to God for forgiveness, through Jesus Christ. It must be done quickly because time has run out. There is no time left on the clock to prevent additional terrorism in America, the melting down of the economy, and the looming presence of this coming war.

President Bush made a horrible mistake by authorizing stem cell research. There was very little cry from the public against it. The nation is guilty before God. Pray for the President. Cry out to God for mercy on our nation. Speak to everyone you know about repentance of the nation's sin before God.

America has received its "final warning" from God.
