Eva Edl was arrested at a Columbus abortion mill during the Operation Save America (OSA) national event. She pleaded "not guilty" to disorderly conduct charges. Here's a lady born to give a voice to voiceless children and she does. She chose to have a trial by jury so she can share the truth about the horror that is happening to little unborn boys and girls. Eva was interred in a concentration camp as a child. She remembers being labeled a "nonperson." She told supporters, "It's happening again in America." A. C. Stripp, a Jewish attorney who made his escape during WWII just two hours before Nazi's came to take him to a concentration camp, will be defending Eva at her trial in January.
Also arrested at the Columbus event, Rusty Thomas burned six wicked Supreme Court rulings thirty minutes after the city-issued Burn Permit had elapsed. He was charged with igniting an open flame and use of a criminal tool (a charcoal briquette lighter.) His August 11, arraignment was postponed.
The Walk team, the Minutemen, Pass the Salt Ministries, and eleven ministers, among others, spent the week after the Columbus event at a Warsaw, OH camp meeting. OSA Director Flip Benham said they dealt with homosexual marriage determining that Americans, including Christian Americans, had redefined marriage long before homosexuals redefined it. "Why should we be surprised when two men talk about getting married?" he asked. The Holy Spirit worked in all those present to recommit to the kind of marriage ordained by God and to have the large families that please Him. There were several salvations among the children. Flip said many of the men present at the camp meeting will fast from Monday at 6:00 pm to Tuesday at 6:00 pm every week. They have pledged to be prepared to go where the battle is raging.
Flip said it has been difficult to make any headway walking. They have been stopped so often by so many people. He said, "There are three things that are important, God, His Word and people. We just have to be sensitive to people's needs and spend time with the eternal things."
He told about one dad that Gib Killion prayed with. The dad was having a real struggle, everything was going wrong in his life. He told Gib that, on top of everything else, his car's transmission had just blown and he was having to walk three miles to get bread for his children. He said as he walked, he prayed and asked God why everything was so tough for him. He said suddenly he saw dozens of fire flies; it was one of those unexpected awesome moments when your heart catches in your throat. He walked further and ran across Gib and our Walk team. He recognized that God was speaking to him through these events. In trying times, Psalm 46:1-3 assures us:
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Flip and Rusty stopped at the Flying J to eat breakfast one morning. They talked to the couple seated next to them. It turned out the couple had been searching for God and were about to join the Mormon church. Rusty began to quietly pray. After ½ hour of sharing Jesus with them, the couple accepted Christ. Flip said, "Our pancakes were cold but our hearts were warm. There have been countless opportunities like this to witness," he said.
August 11, 1:00 pm - The team just left Altoona, PA headed for State College, PA on highway 99.. Flip said it must have taken them three hours to go three miles, so many people stopped to talk to them. They needed hay for the animals. A family brought them five bales. He said, "There are so many folks in agreement with the message we're bringing, that America must turn back to God. The people are hungry for battle. The church must rise up."
They need to be in Saratoga Springs, NY by Sunday for the Oh, Saratoga! event.
