Kitty girl, we do not protest or picket anything. We are storming the gates of hell! We are bringing truth to an institution that has, for all intents and purposes, declared war on the One who is the Truth, Jesus, (see John 14:6). We are bringing life and hope to a place where often there is only death and despair, as you yourself admitted.
I really did not want to even respond to you this year. I wanted to ignore you for a change. You and your cult came to my school last year and annoyed everyone even the committed Christians. And now you have come back again. Last year,my friends andI,(being immature), acted rudely to you. I apologize. This year i wanted to just ignore you and maybe you'd go away. But i know why you came back.
This year our high school HAS become somewhat of a hell, You ARE right about that. We have had to deal with the deaths of two students so far, and i am very depressed about how rotten our school is this year. Violence has abruptly taken over the school. But your being here IS NOT helping.
I have checked out your web site and you remind me of a news crew (which i hate) you write about controversial things and spread negativity. But also like news crews you write of inspiring stories (which i LOVE to hear). Please write more inspiring things and do more inspiring things instead of blocking traffic and picketing. There is sooo much more positive things you could be doing and sharing right now. But please leave the schools alone.
Don't you get it by now? Have you not noticed the numbers of hate mail and angry voices left on your answering machine? Stop trying to SAVE America . America has done damage to itself. You can make it better by helping people in a different way, not picketing and passing out brochures and holding signs of dead babies.
Teens are immature they are only angered by what you have to say. i am proud of the way my school responded to you today by ignoring you and not trying to start debates with you. i hope they continue this mature response. and i hope that you will be mature enough to walk away.
sincerely a senior at north meck
Dear Kitty girl,
Thanks for your quick response to our Jesus Proclamation at your school. We are simply a small part of a national campaign to bring God back to school. It is called, “God Is Going Back to School.” It all began in the spring of 1997, and we have been privileged to proclaim the Gospel of Christ on the campuses of thousands of colleges and high schools across this nation, as well as many other locations. Just to set the record straight, we did not bring the picture of the aborted baby to your school yesterday. Rather, we came in response to the huge melee that broke out in your school last Thursday, October 27, 2005.
You stated that North Mecklenburg High School has become “somewhat of a hell,” that “violence has abruptly taken over,” and that you are “very depressed” about it. Yet you decry our efforts to bring the only solution that can bring peace, and that is the Prince of Peace. If you had read the brochure that we passed out to over 600 kids on your campus, you would have discovered the reason why your school has become a virtual hell on earth.
I don't agree, Kitty girl, that this message is not inspirational. But before one can become truly inspired, he must be first made aware that a problem exists. Do you believe that a problem exists in North Mecklenburg High School? If you do, and you said that you do, then are you prepared to inspire others to do something about it?
Last Thursday morning and afternoon, you had police cars, ambulances, news crews, and undercover police officers swarming all over your school. Do you remember? And why is that? Because North Mecklenburg High School has become a veritable jungle where “survival of the fittest” reigns. The kids are simply living out that which they have been taught. It is the logical consequence of refusing to acknowledge God. If He is irrelevant, what difference does it make if I do right or wrong. “I'll just do whatever I want, whenever I want, and what teacher has the right to judge me!” Sound familiar?
If, after all, you are merely a random grouping of atoms that clashed together over billions of years and somehow produced Kitty girl, what difference does it make whether or not you do right or wrong? Who determines what is right and wrong for Kitty girl? Who sets the standard? Your beliefs only lead to your being very depressed. But listen to this: “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5. Kitty, we may have to be confronted with our sin and it will cause us to weep; but if we respond properly, joy will come in the morning!
When the moral compass of Almighty God is violently removed from the education of our kids, we should not be surprised that violence results. God was expelled from your school long before violence and death entered the hallways of North Mecklenburg. The result is that you are presently attending a school where everyone pretty much does that which is right in his own eyes. There is no respect for authority, as you admit. The guys that were in the big fight on Thursday were all right in their own eyes – just listen to their stories. When Jesus is removed, Kitty girl, anarchy and violence will rule.
Martin Luther, the great Reformation theologian, said it this way, “I am much afraid that our schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place a child where Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt.”
How is North Mecklenburg High doing in “… occupying itself with the Word of God?”
