It is Finished!
But the Battle has Just Begun

After 2400 miles on foot and six months time, the mail has been faithfully delivered! Flip, Rusty, and the rest of the “Walk Across America” team entered Washington, D.C., on August 28, 2004. Below is the final Walk report.

On Saturday, August 28, our team reached its final destination – the White House. Lafayette Park is located directly across from the White House and it was there that the team set up to deliver the mail from God Himself.

The team was looking for places and became hopelessly lost. The saints in D.C. found them and brought them to the park. They arrived to find enough parking for all of their large vehicles directly in front of the park. It was as though God Himself reserved these spaces. If anyone has been to Washington, D.C., you know that parking is always an issue.

Mike and Sabina were waiting for us at Lafayette Park. What a surprise! You may know them better as BARF – Biblical America Resistance Front. They have to be our favorite pro-aborts. They are ever ready to oppose us. It is interesting that our “enemies” always show up, but our friends often don't. We truly love Mike and Sabina whether they realize it or not.

The park police were there as well. They even helped us set up our sound system to deliver the message we had come so far to deliver. God was making even our enemies at peace with us.

The time had come. After starting in San Clemente, California, and walking across the entire width of this nation, this is the message that was delivered to our nation's First Family:

“The last time we were at the White House on September 8, 2001, nineteen of us were arrested. Our crime? We prayed. The police gave us one warning, then another as we beseeched God for our President to change his heart over his decision concerning embryonic stem cell research. ‘… “I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.” Matt 25:45. We were then given our third and final warning. At that time, someone stood up and said, ‘No, America ! This is your third and final warning!' He then read from Dt. 32:25: ‘ In the street the sword will make them childless; in their homes terror will reign. Young men and young women will perish, infants and gray-haired men.' ‘ If we do not protect the most innocent among us, then the disasters of Deuteronomy will come upon this nation quickly.' Nineteen gentle Christians were immediately arrested. Three days later, nineteen men with box cutters crashed airplanes into buildings and brought this nation to her knees.”

“Mr. President, in your acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia on August 3, 2000, you said, and I quote, ‘We will defend the rights of the aged. We will defend the rights of the infirm. We will defend the rights of the unborn. But, good people disagree on this issue. I believe in tolerance, not in spite of my faith, but because of it. I believe in a God who calls us, not to judge our neighbor, but to love them.'”

“This statement, with one fell swoop, removed the Sword of the Spirit out of the hands of the Church of Jesus Christ. Mr. President, you have taken from us the one offensive weapon our Lord has given us to tear down the strongholds of the enemy. You have left us with defensive armor that will protect us, but no offensive weapon with which to slay the enemy that is ravaging our nation.”

“The Sword of the Spirit is judgmental. It distinguishes between that which is good and that which is evil, and it destroys false ideologies, religions, and lies. It is a restorer of justice.”

“Mr. President, this parable began in San Clemente, California, and is being delivered to you six months later. We are here today as a young boy carrying a broken set of the Ten Commandments. We are here today as a young lady carrying a small white coffin which represents the 47 million children we have slaughtered by abortion. We are here today as a man leading a white horse called ‘Judgment.' We are here today as a man leading a donkey named ‘Mercy.' And we are here today as a man leading a horse named ‘Justice.'”

“What does this mean? We in America have broken all of God's Laws and, as a result, we have broken God's children through abortion. Yes, the weak have become a prey in America. (Read Isaiah 59.) Do you remember your acceptance speech, Mr. President? You said you would defend the weak among us and yet, we are euthanizing the old, starving to death the handicapped, and murdering the unborn.”

“When we break God's Law, God's judgments are sure to come, for He is just. We are experiencing God's remedial judgments with enemies attacking us both from within and without. This is the horse called ‘Judgment.'”

“Yet, Mr. President, our Lord longs to have mercy. If we will turn to Him now and see Jesus riding on a donkey, He will have mercy upon us. But it is only to Him that we must turn, for He is the only One who was crucified on a cross, buried in a tomb, and raised from the dead. Jesus alone is God. There is no other. This is the donkey called ‘Mercy.'”

“The sign, Mr. President, that we have truly repented and turned to Jesus will be a readiness to see justice done. ‘See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done….' 2 Cor 7:10-11. When there is justice done, the weak will be protected. You will live up to your promise to defend the rights of the aged, infirm, and the unborn by taking this parable to heart. This is the horse called ‘Justice.'”

“Therefore, we are asking you this day to bring an end to the abortion holocaust savaging our land.”

“You had stated, Mr. President, that the ‘culture is not yet ready to end abortion.' We are reminding you, Mr. President, that God is ready to end abortion. Mr. President, we will either repent of this slaughter, or perish by continuing on our own reckless way. Abortion will come to an end in America , either through our repentance or through the cataclysmic judgments of Almighty God. One way or another, it will come to an end.”

At this point, Flip handed the microphone to Rusty. Rusty spoke of the warning that he gave on September 8, 2001, which was that if America didn't repent immediately of child-killing, God would reduce our economic and military might to dust. Thirty hours after they left Washington, D.C., the Twin Towers, the symbol of our economic might, and the Pentagon, the symbol of our military might, actually became dust.

Rusty went on to say, “We have walked the entire length of America with a warning from Almighty God. Either the legalizing of child-killing and homosexuality comes to an end, or America as we know it will come to an end. When you see great calamities come upon America, calamities in which we won't be able to ‘get back to normal' or ‘buy our way back from,' know this for certain – that these things have come upon us because of the shedding of innocent blood, the acceptance of homosexuality, and the calling of good evil and evil good.”

At that point, the mail had been delivered.

BLACK PASTORS BOUGHT BY THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY – NEW ORLEANS, LA

On Monday, September 6, 2004, Flip, his wife Faye, and their daughter Abby met up with Brother Bill Shanks and Roy McMillan to give a voice to the unborn at the National Baptist Convention in New Orleans. This is a predominately black convention. John Kerry addressed them the following Thursday, September 9, 2004.

The saints confronted the convention with the truth about abortion all week. Flip would call out to the black brothers and sisters and ask them if they loved Jesus. They would respond with a resounding, “Yes! We love Jesus!” Flip would again ask, “Hasn't Jesus been good to you?” They would reply with a wholehearted, “Yes!”

Once more Flip would call out, “God says children are children at conception. Do you agree?” The response was, “Yes, we agree!”

Flip's final challenge was, “The Democratic Party stands squarely for the murder of little baby boys and girls in their mothers' wombs. If you love Jesus, you can't stand with this party. It's either Jesus, or the Democrats. Which one do you choose?”

Their response was revealing. “I'm not gonna get into all the politics of all this, but I do preach against abortion!” The only problem with that response is that our black brothers and sisters in Christ are wavering between two opinions. It's hard for them.

Certainly their loyalty lies with the Democratic Party because of its stand during the civil rights movement in the '60's. They remember history. It was the Democratic Party that saw the injustice during the battle for civil rights and sided with them. Therefore, the black vote will be 90% Democratic.

Though they feel the Democratic Party has been good to them, it is Jesus who is their true liberator. Their allegiance should be to Jesus alone. Unfortunately, the bride of Christ has been bribed by the Democratic Party.

Make no mistake about it, our black brothers and sister truly love the Lord, but they don't see the obvious double standard. The Party to which they have sworn allegiance is pro-homosexual, pro-death, and in direct opposition to the God they serve. When you make this point, they stop up their ears.

One of the pieces of literature that Flip and the team passed out was called “Black Genocide” from Life Dynamics. In it is a quote from Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood, written to Clarence Gamble in 1939. “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through religious appeal. (The Democratic Party has certainly taken advantage of this advice – Flip.) We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their most rebellious members.”

At this convention, our black brothers and sisters chose between two masters – they chose the Democratic Party over our Lord.

SOUTHERN DECADENCE – NEW ORLEANS, LA

On Sunday night, September 5, 2004, Flip and his family joined the saints in New Orleans as they confronted the homosexual community in a fiasco called “Southern Decadence.” This is Bourbon Street 's annual gay pride lust fest. Gathered together with about 70 brothers and sisters in Christ and led by Brother Bill Shanks and Pastor Grant Storm, they brought the theology of the church house to downtown Bourbon Street. As Christ entered the city streets through the foolish things of this world, nothing was easy in the “Big Easy.” Here is Flip's report:

“Those who scream tolerance the most are truly the most intolerant of all. Through the beer, cigarette burns, and jeers, brothers and sisters in Christ entered into many conversations with those lost and enslaved by the lust of sodomy. Hundreds of conversations took place in the streets with those who were filled with a fierce combativeness to state that not only are they homosexuals, but they are also Christians. We encountered this over and over again. From their youth, many realized that they were different and were conflicted, knowing that their behavior did not line up with the principles of the Bible. During this confliction, they gave in to the evil desires of their sinful nature. In order to ease the battle raging within, they concluded that God created them as homosexuals. They are desperate to believe they are right with God. They insist that the ones confronting them and judging their sin are being hateful.”

“In the midst of seeing this horrible shocking behavior, we knew that we were looking into Sodom and Gomorrah. If the truth be known, they would have killed us if they could have gotten away with it. The messenger is always a target.”

“Many asked us if any good will come about from what we did. The answer is, ‘Yes, yes, and a thousand times yes!' Whether or not anyone gave their heart to Christ that night is not our reason for going to them. We came to be truthful witnesses. It tells us in the Bible that a truthful witness saves lives (Proverbs 14:25). We were a truthful witness for God concerning what He says about homosexuality. Many know now what they did not know before. Homosexuality and Christianity cannot possibly walk hand in hand. One might be a practicing homosexual, but he will know, because those in the church have made it known, that he is not a Christian. Love calls us to be a truthful witness. ‘For the wounds of a friend bring healing.' (Proverbs 27:6).”

“Why is it that there are so many homosexual ‘churches' sprouting up all over America? Because of the intense battle that goes on in the heart of one enslaved by homosexuality. They have been struggling within themselves for years. The suicide rate within the homosexual community is extremely high. Unlike other lost souls who go about their daily business earning a living and trying to be a good person, the homosexual has had to ask the hard questions. But instead of repenting and fighting the battle within, they are now being told they can remain a homosexual and be right with God. Jesus, however, is the sworn enemy of sin. He is the answer to sin. Each one of us is born with a self-destruction mechanism – sin. Homosexuality is a sin. It must be bridled. It must be conquered. It must be repented of. Education cannot conquer it. Psychology cannot conquer it. Only the blood of Jesus can save us from the sinful nature within. He doesn't affirm us in our sin. He conquers it on a daily basis when we realize that we are sinners in need of a Savior.”

“One young man did give his heart to Christ. Brother Bill's daughter Stephanie led him to the Lord. She is fierce in her Christianity. She saw his soft heart and did not let go of him until he gave his life to the One who could set him free – Jesus Christ.”
